It’s freakishly cold in Ottawa, especially compared to the winters back in the Netherlands. For some, escaping the chill isn’t as easy as stepping into a warm home—or having enough money to get a hot meal (maybe with some Gouda cheese!). That’s why my team and I thought, "we gotta Gouda go" and take part in the Coldest Night Walk on February 22 to raise money for those in need. 

As a volunteer at the Drop-In, I see firsthand how a coffee, a sandwich, some winter gear, a listening ear, and being surrounded by a supportive group can make a huge difference in someone’s day. Let's keep that good work going by Dropping those Donations In—just hit the "Donate Now" button above!
