Kinbrace is a small charity that has quietly existed in East Vancouver for over 25 years. They welcome newly arrived refugee claimants with safe transitional housing, help with settlement and a wrap around community of support. 

Those seeking asylum in Canada arrive at Kinbrace to friendly faces, a small clean apartment and a welcome basket filled with much needed emergency food and sanitary items. There is access to gift cards, transit passes and staff who can help with the refugee claim process, connecting with lawyers and getting kids registered for school. These are just a few of the things on offer.
