When we were kids, my dad and my brother were both named George; to clarify, they became known as Old George and Young George. When my parents became grandparents, they were called Nanny and Papa. When their grandchildren had children, they were called Old Nanny and Old Papa. There was not an ounce of disrespect in the name, only great love and affection.
