Our family immigrated to Canada as sponsored refugees in the 1980s. With the support and care of so many people, we have successfully built new lives for ourselves and are grateful to call Kitchener-Waterloo home.

That experience is why Reception House Waterloo Region is such an important cause to us—they offer the same kind of life-changing support to today’s newcomers that we were fortunate to receive. Reception House provides vital support through settlement services, employment assistance, housing support, and more—helping individuals and families build a safe, stable, and hopeful future.
