Welcome to the team Laurel,. Chief Kevin and Mark! I have created an ensil to recruit more team members and adk for fonatation - it is below I encourage you to send it out to friends, family, and coworkers And thanks again for joining the team! Our UNITED HOUSING FOR ALL advocacy group has again entered a team to fundraise for SAUGEEN SHORES COLDEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR fundraiser happening on February 28th at Lakeshore Recreation. That is the some of the members of the United Housing For All CNOY team who walked last year in the picture below. We are looking for people to join our 2026 CNOY UHFA team either by walking and helping to get donations. Or by showing your support with a donation as an individual or as a local business. As you may know our group advocates for affordable housing in Saugeen Shores to help those that struggle with housing costs and shelter in our community. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Our UHFA team has set a goal of $10,000. We know it’s a big goal – but the need to help the hurting, the homeless, and the hungry in Saugeen Shores is great as well. TO JOIN THE TEAM OR TO DONATE CLICK HERE: WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO? The Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser raises funds for one of United Way Bruce Grey’s core priorities: “From Poverty to Possibility.” This initiative funds essential programs that tackle food insecurity, utility assistance, homelessness, and the provision of school supplies for students from low-income families—fostering lasting change and hope for a brighter future. With United Way Bruce Grey directing proceeds to community-based initiatives carried out in Saugeen Shores and Saugeen First Nation by local partners such as the SOUTHAMPTON ROTARY CLUB, the funds raised in CNOY support individuals and families who face the challenges of poverty. These efforts aim to create lasting change and offer hope for a brighter future. Your support is more critical than ever, as the demand for assistance has surged—food bank usage has doubled, and over 600 people are currently on the waitlist for housing in the region. Join us on Saturday, February 28, 2026, for the Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk. Together, we can provide essential support to vulnerable community members in Saugeen Shores and Saugeen First Nation, making a meaningful difference for those in need. THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LISTEN AND WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN THE TEAM OR DONATE TO THIS WORTHY CAUSE! AND….. To those that have already donated or joined a team for this or another CNOY community fundraising event on behalf of thr UHFA group I thank you for your time and support that will definitely benefit many of your fellow residents. We asked that you please share this email with friends, neighbours, family, employees and/or coworkers to help this worthy cause raise funds and get more teams created! Cheers!
