La Lumineuse welcomes women with children and is one of the few Montreal shelters that accepts teens. It allows families to stay together when most other options separate mothers from their older children.

Since opening four years ago, La Lumineuse has supported:

• 40 mothers
• 60 children, including 16 teenagers aged 13
