It's cold out there. And this February, our team is going to do something about it. Together with other people across the country, we're walking and fundraising to support and serve people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in our community.
Each year I choose a team name that touches my heart. This years team name come from across the Pacific from the island of Oahua Hawaii. On January 31,2026 I had the honor of meeting the founder of HOPE. His miss just like Darlene's PVH touched my heart. Homelessness is everywhere!! My team name this year is in honor of what Quinton does in Hawaii.
This is what HOPE is all about in Hawaii!!!
Founded in 2005 and officially incorporated in 2008, H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Everyday) is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering underserved communities through education, advocacy, and essential support services. Since receiving its nonprofit designation in 2012, H.O.P.E. has worked tirelessly to uplift at-risk and homeless youth, while also championing the rights and well-being of our nation’s veterans. H.O.P.E. offers a wide range of programs focused on educational access, youth development, and critical services for children and families in need. Our efforts extend to providing housing assistance and helping veterans navigate the complex process of securing medical benefits and long-term stability. We believe it is our collective responsibility to honor those who have served by ensuring they are not forgotten or left behind. At the heart of our mission is a simple yet powerful truth: the small choices we make today shape the future of our communities. Through a network of training programs for parents, educators, and service providers, as well as one-on-one consultations, referrals, and strategic collaborations with schools, mental health agencies, and other nonprofits, H.O.P.E. works to build stronger, more resilient communities. Together, we are cultivating change—one person, one family, one future at a time.
What small thing can you do today?
