At the YMCA, kids like 9 year old Adam, a child born into a life of uncertainty, can get their lives back on course. When Adam was 6, his mother abandoned him and his grandmother turned to the YMCA for support. With very few financial resources, his grandmother required assistance to pay for Adam’s annual membership. The Y has helped Adam participate in programs, learn new things, and most importantly, feel safe, accepted and cared for. Over the last three years, Adam has truly become one strong kid! Adam is one of the hundreds of children in our community that need the YMCA to help them grow, have fun and just be kids. And I’d like to help them. I’m trying to raise $250 to help other children just like Adam who need help with an annual membership. I’ve already made my contribution and hope you’ll join me. Thank you very much for your support.
