It's that time of year again! Time to support Branson's Buddies and a great cause! The Buddy Walk will be Saturday, October 14th from 1p-5p at the UNCC football stadium. This is an amazing family friendly event with a short walk and a ton of fun activities. Food, music, bounce houses, arts and crafts and the walk finishes on the football field. This will be the 8th year that we have participated in this event and we are blown away by how the support for Branson's Buddies grows each year by both fundraising and team members!
The Buddy Walk is a 1-mile wakl and family fun day to celebrate individuals with Down syndrome and promote community inclusion. This year, an estimated 3,000 people wlll join together to celebrate in the Greater Charlotte area. This is the largest fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Association of Great Charlotte, and makes possible the many programs and services provided for people wth Down syndrome, their families, educators and service providers. Our family feeels very fortunate to have these resources and program opportunities!
The Buddy Walk is also a chance to celebrate Branson and all individuals with Down syndrome. Please join us in supporting Branson's Buddies by donating and/or joining our team!
