SO Palm Beach PALs- Plunging Athlete Leaders
Amount Raised
Fundraising Goal $25,000.00

Our Message

Support the coolest team around!

This team is comprised of the Athlete Leaders from Special Olympics Palm Beach County and a few unified athlete partners and volunteers. Athlete leaders raise 95-98% of the funds each year for our Polar Plunge Team.

These athletes do an AWESOME fundraising effort to help make sure all athletes in Palm Beach County get opportunities to train, compete and enjoy sports.

Every athlete will tell you that they get much more from Special Olympics than just playing sports. Here's what some of our athletes had to say...

We make Friends for life ... we get to have fun with our friends ... we learn how to be part of a team ... we learn to work hard and that helps with my job too ... we get a chance to show other people that we can do it ... we get healthy and fit ... we get to learn new sports and try new things ... we get to help other people.

40,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities in Florida receive health exams and compete in year-round sports competitions at no cost to them or their families.

Be a part of it - make a difference - support Special Olympics Palm Beach County - you'll feel good that you did.

Help even more by passing this along to your friends, family and coworkers to help support us too.

Please select a team member to donate to their individual fundraising page with a quick, easy and secure Online donation. To give by check instead, make payable to SOFL, write athlete's name and "SOPBC Polar Plunge" on the memo line and send to:
