Our Message

Communities all across Canada are participating on February 23rd to raise funds for their own communities in an event called "Coldest Night of the Year Walk-a-Thon" On February 23rd, Sarnia-Lambton participants will walk to support our very own NeighborLink Sarnia-Lambton. This is a network of volunteers that bridges the needs of the less fortunate with community resources. All funds raised will help with items of great need such as bed sheets, non-perishable food items, laundry detergent, stuffed animals.
We'll be meeting at the Sarnia Christian School, 1273 Exmouth Street. Registration opens at 4:00 pm, with opening ceremonies starting at 5:00 pm. The walk itself starts at 5:15. We will have the opportunity to walk 2 kms, 5 kms, or 10 kms. Afterwards there will be a light warm meal to help take the chill off.
The link for the event is found here:
So, hats off to you for signing up for this event – better yet, hats ON! Our team is called Warm Hearts and Cold Fingers. And we're here to do our part - raise funds, get some exercise and have loads of fun!

I'm currently being held together with a back brace since coming off prednisone so I don't think I should plan to walk after a day with Guides but I am sponsoring you.
