Cycle & Walk the WAVE 2019 is The WAVE Foundation's 12th annual fundraiser on Saturday, September 7th at Gas Works Park from 10 am – 2 pm (https://thewavefoundation.org/cyclethewave/) I started riding the WAVE ride a few years ago with Sofia (Charlie) under the team name CSquared. She's off to college so now Klara and I will ride! (Team KCSquared)
Sadly we know people whose lives have been affected and changed forever by violence. We'd like to be part of helping prevent violence through education and intervention.

This year, every registrant and dollar raised helps The WAVE Foundation support the following programs:
TEAM UP: Team Up Washington uses sports as a platform to end sexual assault and dating abuse by expanding the reach of Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM) and Athletes as Leaders (AAL). CBIM is the only evidence-based prevention program that trains and motivates high school coaches to teach their young male athletes healthy relationship skills and that violence never equals strength. AAL is the sister program to CBIM for high school athletes on girls’ sports teams. Learn more.
LEGAL HOPE: The WAVE Foundation’s Legal Hope Program is the first legal program in Washington State focused on offering legal assistance to survivors of sex trafficking and spreading awareness throughout the legal community. Legal Hope’s team of over 100 pro bono attorneys helps remove barriers to housing, employment, and family stability and build hope for a survivor’s future. Learn more.
DISCOVER YOUR POWER: At the WAVE Foundation, we believe in the power of collaboration and partnership. Going forward, we will be partnering with the UW School of Social Work to fund graduate students to implement prevention programs for the UW Greek communities. Stay tuned for more details!
