Wow only 6 days left but that’s 6 days of opportunities to raise even more donations. This has been a cold, bitter, windy spell but that should spur us on to work even harder. Great job so far, everyone. The countdown is on.

You are doing fantastic, team! Aren’t you glad we didn’t have to walk today? That wind and snow squalls were something else. I think we should all pray that next Saturday (Feb 26) we will have good weather. So we will walk at the track in the Centreville Fair Grounds at 10 am Please be there a few minutes early as I will hand out your toques and other info and explain about how to remit our cash and cheques. Keep up the good work. $10,000.00 here we come!!!

Hey, team Don’t forget that adults have to raise $150.00 of pledges to receive a toque and youth under 17 have to raise $75.00 in pledges. Wouldn’t it be great if we all could wear toques on the day we walked?

Boy it’s been really cold. A good way to warm up is to get busy and contact your family and friends and remind them that there are people out there who really suffer at these temperatures because they don’t have a warm, cosy home. I’m sure they will be glad to donate to keep their brothers and sisters warm. Go team, go!!!

During this time of COVID we all experienced isolation and loneliness but most of us had a warm cozy home where we hunkered down but can you even imagine being homeless in these circumstances! It’s up to us to share our abundance with those who have not even a roof over their heads. Please be extravagantly generous. Be the “Good Samaritan”

In Jesus' parable of Matthew, chapter 25, verses 31 to 46, the Lord essentially says: "What you give to my brothers and sisters most in need, you are giving it to me!" Last year, we inspired by personal invitations our family, friends, co-workers, neighbours and fellow parishioners to donate $15,000.00!!! Let us match last year's generous contribution, and why not exceed it!

The homeless never get a break. When it is cold, and wet and slushy, they still need shelter, food, and clothing. Let us match or exceed the $15,000 that as family of parishes what we raised last year by inviting so many of our friends, relatives and neighbours to donate! It is a great cause

As a family of 3 parishes, we raised $15,000.00 last year for Morningstar Mission. Let us match last year's generosity, and why not exceed it by inviting others who have not yet had the honour of contributing!
Church of the Assumption (Erinsville) donated $100.00
