The On-The-Go Card
Through our drop-in programs we serve approximately 1,300 clients annually, more than 30,000 times. With many of these programs now shut down, our youth have limited places to turn to these supports. #TogetherWeCan make sure that our youth have access to food in the community.

The Personal Sanitation Kit
Frequent hand-washing can help protect against COVID-19. But what if you didn't have frequent access to running water? For the estimated 300 homeless youth in York Region this is a reality now that many places are closed. To stop the spread of COVID-19 we all need to work together and ensure kids have the protection they need to stay safe from this virus.

The Back To School Gift

The Grocery Gift Card
In 2019, 410 youth participated in our employment programs and 75% were hired on afterwards. Now many of these youth have been laid off and may not be eligible for support. The Cellphone Gift
While the World Health Organization makes clear why we need to stay away from one another, confining yourself to home is no easy task. Loneliness is already a social health crisis itself, with roughly 1 in 3 adults experiencing it to some degree. #TogetherWeCan keep kids connected by making sure they have a way to communicate while in isolation. This kit will provide a youth with a cellphone for 1 month.

The Thermarest Gift
At this current time shelters in York Region are at full capacity and to minimize the risk of community spread there are limitations to the amount of overflow youth we can serve during colder nights. There are youth in our community sleeping on the streets and providing a thermarest will provide much comfort to them.

Many youth are living on their own, and have minimum wage jobs or have now lost their jobs. Many rely on our drop-in center for their daily meals.
