Q&A’s: 1) Is return transportation provided? (Unless specified, all tickets are one-way trips and return transportation is the sole responsibility of the ticket holder) 2) Is a ticket required for children 1 year and younger? (Children 1 year of age and younger travel for free on their parent’s lap) 3) When do I need to arrive to board the train? (Arrival time is 1 hour prior to departure) 4) Do I need to sign a waiver? (The tickets include a waiver on the back and need to be signed by the rider, parents may sign for their children) 5) Are there any refreshments/concession items available on the train ride? (There will not be any items available or for sale, please bring your own snacks/beverages - alcohol is not permitted) 6) Is there handicap access? (There are no provisions for those with limited mobility needs, passengers are required to climb stairs to entrain/detrain the coach car) 7) Are there any restrictions to riding the train? (It is recommended that passengers do not wear open toed shoes) 8) How will I receive my ticket(s)? (Children’s Wish will have an onsite ticket pick up at the departure location, a passenger manifest will be referenced as proof of purchase) 9) Can I give my ticket to someone else if I have purchased it but can’t go? (Tickets are transferable and will be verified at departure against the manifest) 10) Who should I speak with if I have any ticket concerns? (Tickets are available on the Children’s Wish website, any remaining tickets will be sold the day of the trip at the departure location at the Children’s Wish booth) 12) What age is considered a child? (Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times) 13) Can I bring baggage on the train for food, camera equipment, strollers/car seats etc? (Space is limited, out of respect for other passengers please keep belongings to a minimum. Strollers and car seats can be stored, but are not permitted for use while on the train)
