Our conference will be an information-packed day of presentations and discussions with leading experts involved in food allergy research, food science, and food labelling regulations. Find out what studies are under way to unlock the mysteries of food allergy and what treatments may be on the horizon. Learn how Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency work together to assess food allergen risks in pre-packaged foods and what progress has been made by international food scientists and researchers to set threshold levels for food allergens. During the breaks you’ll have a chance to connect with more than 20 exhibitors who provide services, products, and information for consumers with food allergies.

Anaphylaxis Canada’s Youth Advisory Panel (YAP), together with Kyle Dine, Program Coordinator, will host a half-day morning session for youth with food allergies. This session is designed for youth aged 13 to 21 years, and provides an open forum for discussion and support, regarding the key issues facing this group. Special guest, Toronto Argonaut Thomas Miles, will be on hand to talk to the group about his experiences living with food allergies.
