About Grand River Regional Cancer Centre

Funds raised from the 2015 Grand Ride will support cancer programs and patient care at Grand River Hospital for people in our community living with cancer.

The Grand River Regional Cancer Centre (GRRCC) is a regional leader in cancer care, providing the best access to radiation therapy in the province, among the lowest wait times for chemotherapy treatment, and a new high-dose rate brachytherapy service.

Since 2003, GRRCC has provided radiation therapy to over 14,300 patients in 294,000 visits, and chemotherapy to over 18,200 patients in 130,100 visits.  It has also hosted over 50 clinical trials involving over 600 patients.
