Everything you need to know about the Montreal SPCA’s AnimaPlus Snout and About

What is the Walk all about?
The AnimaPlus Snout and About  is an annual walk organized by the Montreal SPCA and AnimaPlus Veterinary Group Inc. The goal of the Walk is to raise funds for the Montreal SPCA to help accomplish its mission: protecting animals against negligence, ensuring their well-being, raising public awareness, and to help develop compassion for all living creatures.

When?
Sunday, June 12th, 2016.

What time?
Activities begin at 10:00 am.
The walk begins at 11:00 am.
Activities will be held until 3:00 pm.

Do I have to sign up for the walk and what are the costs?
Yes! The registration fee is only $20 per person (and not per animal). This fee includes a bag full of surprises for you and your pet.
You can register individually, create a team or sponsor an existing team. By signing up, you can also set a fundraising goal, while at the same time letting your friends know about this fun event. Registration also helps participants to stay in touch with upcoming news regarding the Walk.

Do I need to bring anything?
Bring your friends, your family, and of course your dog!  Water and communal dog bowls will be available, but feel free to bring your dog’s own bowl if you prefer. Also, make sure you bring poop bags to clean up after your dog.

Will there be activities?
Yes! We will have many fun and educational activities for the whole family, before and after the walk.

How will my donation help?
Every year the Montreal SPCA receives nearly 15,000 animals. The money you raise will help provide care for them and to find them a new forever home.

Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely! Bring your best friend and walk with all the other dogs that will be there. Please note that your dog should be kept on a leash, be sterilized, and well socialised around other dogs and people.

Can I come if I don’t have a dog?
Absolutely! Everyone who wishes to support the Walk is welcome. Join us and take part in the activities, meet the team, and walk along with us.
