Mary Walsh

Mary Walsh was born in St. John's, Newfoundland. She is a writer and actress, known for The Rosie O'Donnell Show (1996), This Hour Has 22 Minutes (1992) and Codco (1986).

Ron James

Ron James' unique brand of physical comedy is balanced with intelligent and informative observations on everything from the mosquito driven torment of a Canadian camping trip to the sheer terror of being in a traffic jam with your bladder about to explode. His kinetic energy and comic style have been seen on CBC, Global, CTV, CBS, NBC, HBO, Disney and the FOX network, and he has also appeared on The Martin Short Special, The Dave Thomas Special and the Jim Henson Hour. A longtime member of Second City, James wrote, produced and starred in the critically- acclaimed Up & Down in Shaky Town: One Man's Journey Through the California Dream. James has also been a headliner at many leading comedy festivals including the Banff International Film & Television Festival, Just for Laughs and the Toronto International Comedy Festival. In 1998 he filmed a 90-minute Comedy Special for CTV.

Mike McDonald

Mike MacDonald is a Canadian comedian, actor and writer, known for Mr. Nice Guy, the Nutcracker Prince, and Affairs of the Heart. McDonald has been on Late Night with David Letterman, Just for Laughs, The A List, Comedy Club All-Star Show, and An Evening with Improv. McDonald has also hosted the Gemini Awards and the Just for Laughs 10th Anniversary Special for CBC, and holds the distrinction of being the only comedian to perform at each and every Just For Laughs gala show.        

Patrick McKenna



Patrick's first television debut was with the hilarious Red Green Show with fifteen seasons as the loveable, nerdy, techno-geek, Harold; while simultaneously performing five seasons in the acclaimed dramatic series Traders. Mr. McKenna was awarded Gemini’s for both the “Best performance by a Lead Actor in a Comedic Series” and “Best performance by a Lead Actor in a Dramatic Series” in the same year on the same night.

Currently Patrick co-stars in two new hospital series, Hard Rock Medical for TVO and APTN as well as Global Televisions newest hit drama, Remedy.  With any remaining free time, Patrick continues to guest star in several dramatic and comedic series from Murdoch Mysteries to The Mercer Report and has recently entered the world of cartoons; lending his voice to no less than five regular animated series. 



Gavin Crawford

Crawford is a Canadian comedian and actor, best known for The Gavin Crawford Show and This Hour Has 22 Minutes. He is an alumnus of the Second City's Toronto company, and hosted the 2008 Canadian Screenwriting Awards. Crawford has had guest appearances on Murdoch Mysteries, Made in Canada, The Red Green Show, Corner Gas, and Heartland. Crawford is now the host of comedy quiz series Because News on CBC Radio One.

Crawford has been nominated four times for a Gemini Award, which he won in December 2004 for his work on The Gavin Crawford Show. His comedy special Gavin Crawfords Wild West, which aired on CBC Television  in 2013, garnered several Canadian Screen Award nominations at the 2nd Canadian Screen Awards, including a Best Actor in a Comedy Program or Series nod for Crawford.

Mark Forward

Mark can currently be seen on the History Channel show Join or Die with Craig Ferguson as well as the new Crave Tv/Comedy Network series Letterkenny. Mark was recently seen in No Stranger Than Love with Alison Brie and Colin Hanks, which had it's world premiere at the Newport Beach Film Festival. He's also been featured on John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show (Comedy Central), The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS), Funny As Hell (HBO), and Just For Laughs: All Access (The Comedy Network). For two seasons, Forward was a writer and performer on The Jon Dore Television Show. Forward is also a writer and producer on "What would Sal do" on the Super Channel.

Jennifer and Chris Candy

Jennifer Candy is a Canadian producer and actress, known for Live and Maddie, Second City: First Family of Comedy, and According to Jim. Chris Candy is a Canadian actor and writer, known for Contracted, Bar America, and Black and Michael. They are both children of infamous Canadian comedian John Candy.

Robin Duke

Duke is a Canadian actress, comedian, and voice actress. Robin Duke has appeared in films such as Club Paradise, Groundhog Day, Stuart Saves His Family, and Portrait of a Serial Monogamist. Duke is best known for her work on the television comedy series SCTV and Saturday Night Live. She co-founded Women Fully Clothed, a sketch comedy troupe which toured Canada. Duke also teaches writing as a faculty member at Humber College in Toronto and has a recurring role playing Wendy Kurtz in the sitcom Schitt's Creek. 

David Steinberg

Steinberg is a Canadian comedian, actor, writer, director, and author. During the late 1960s and early 1970s, Steinberg was one of the best-known comics in the United States. He appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson more than 130 times (second only to Bob Hope in number of appearances) and served as guest host 12 times, the youngest person ever to guest-host. Steinberg directed several films and episodes of television comedia, including Seinfeld, Friends, Mad About You, Curb Your Enthusiam, and Designing Women. 

Since 2012, Steinberg has hosted the interview program Insider Comedy on the Showtime network.

Andrea Martin

Martin is an American actress, singer, author and comedian, best known for her work in the television series SCTV. She has appeared in films such as Black Christmas (1974), Wag The Dog  (1997), My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002) and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (2016), and lent her voice to the animated films Anastasia (1997), The Rugrats Movie (1998) and Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (2001). 

Martin has been equally prolific in the world of theater, winning Tony Awards for both My Favorite Year and Pippin. Martin also appeared on Broadway in Oklahoma!, Fiddler on the Roof, Young Frankenstein, and Exit the Kind. She has received five nominations for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, more than any other actress in the award's history. She currently stars as Marilyn Kessler on the Hulu original series Difficult People.

Jonny Harris

Jonny Harris has appeared regularly at The Halifax Comedy Festival, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC Radio's Madly Off in All Directions and The Debaters. Harris has been a guest writer for the award-winning This Hour has 22 Minutes and was a contributing writer and star of Mary Walsh's Hatching, Matching and Dispatching. Jonny is a founding member of St. John's sketch comedy troupe 'The Dance Party of Newfoundland', winners of the 2007 Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival's 'Best of the Fest' award. Harris did a more dramatic turn for the feature film Grown Up Movie Star, with which he attended the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Harris currently plays Constable George Crabtree on CityTV's crime-drama The Murdoch Mysteries, for which he has garnered two Gemini nominations for best supporting-lead in a dramatic series. His stand-up special for Comedy Now! can be seen at the Comedy Network website.

Kathryn Greenwood

Greenwood has guest-starred on numerous television series, and landed the part of aunt "Grace Bailey" on the Canadian drama series Wind at My Back (1996), which lasted for five successful seasons. This performance garnered Kathy a nomination for a Gemini Award for "Best Performance By an Actress in a Continuing Leading Role". Greenwopd became a part of the regular recurring cast of the American version of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1998) and went on to win the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Improviser. Since then, Kathy Greenwood continues to shine in film, television, and theater in both Canada and the U.S, including My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, Poltergeist, and episodes of the Rick Mercer Report.

Neil Crone

Neil has performed in dozens of television and radio commercials, TV shows and is the voice of numerous animation characters every Saturday morning. Crone can be seen on The Red Green Show, and Little Mosque on the Prairie. A Second City veteran Improvisor, host, stand-up comic and winner of a Canadian Comedy Award, Neil is also an award-winning newspaper columnist and children's author.

Ed Sahely

Ed Sahely is a Canadian actor who is best remembered for his role as Possum Lake business entrepeneur Murray Woolworth on The Red Green Show. Sahely has received a Dora Mavor Moore Award for work on the Toronto Mainstage, and also co-created the improve troupe Not To Be Repreated. Sahely's telvision and film career includes Monk, Getting Along Famously, The Jane Show, The 11th Hour, Traders, and Due South.

Linda Kash

Linda Kash was a series regular cast member in The Comedy Mill, Max Glick, Variety Tonight in Canada and SheTV, Minor Adjustments and Style and Substance in the US. As well Linda has been a guest on Seinfeld, Third Rock From The Sun, Cybill, Everybody Loves Raymond, Ellen and Sabrina. Her list of films include Waiting For Guffman and Best in Show both directed by Christopher Guest, the multi nominated Cinderella Man directed by Ron Howard and most recently Man of the Year.

Linda has co created several shows for TV including My Talk Show, Lovin' Spoonfuls Go Girl!, and most recently The Joe Blow Show, which she also directed. Linda has also taught sketch writing and improvisation for Humber College and teaches corporate workshops for Beyond The Box. She is also known as Canada's beloved Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese Angel, which has become one of Canadian advertising's most successful campaigns and is now in its 11th year.
