Frequently Asked Questions

Please review the questions and answers below regarding this event.

Is there camping available?

Yes!  Come out and join us for the whole weekend at the Teepee Creek Stampede Grounds!  Free camping for as many nights as you would like to join us around the events.

Is there water and pens available for my horse, if I want to stay overnight?

Yes, we will have water available at the grounds for watering horses.  Pens are available on a first come first serve basis – there are pens in the rodeo stock area inside the track.  Box stalls at the TP Ag Events Centre may also be available for rent.

Do I have to have my own horse to participate?

No, you can take part in the HD Ride 4 a Cure in many ways – some ride their horse, some ride on a wagon, some choose to run or walk the trail route, some volunteer to help out at the event, and some chose to just come in the evening and support our cause by attending the supper, dance, and auctions.

What time should I arrive?

For the main ride, registration is 8:30am to 11:30am on Saturday, August 24th.  Runners are welcome to head out on the trail between 9am and 10am, and riders and wagons leave between 11am and noon.  Supper and evening festivities start at 6:30PM on Saturday night.

How can I volunteer at the HD Ride?

We always have jobs for volunteers available – contact Mack to make arrangements at mack@jadecash.com or 780-897-8048.
