Sens Money on the Board #SensMotB

Help raise awareness and funds for kids in our community.

Inspired by a charity campaign by Columbus Blue Jackets fans, Ottawa Senators fans have taken up the "Money on the Board" cause in which donations are pledged for specific in-game events.

Money on the board is a hockey tradition in which a player or coach will pledge money on a locker-room whiteboard as extra incentive to score a game-winning goal or win a key game. The #SensMotB campaign encourages fans to put money on the board for various in-game events. Entries are encouraged to be as creative as possible. For example, Sens fans can pledge $11.11 for every Daniel Alfredsson goal, $10 for a win, or $5 for a Chris Neil fight.

All proceeds go directly to the Sens Foundation

How does #SensMotB work?

Step 1 - Make your pledge: Click here for the pledge submission form. Note: This is not a donation yet. You're simply submitting your intention to donate given certain in-game events.

Step 2 - Follow us at @SensMotB on Twitter: Let us know your pledge and we'll retweet it. Stay updated on the campaign. (Optional)

Step 3 - Cheer on the Sens: Cheer on the Sens as they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round of the playoffs. (Required)

Step 4 - Check the result of your pledge: Check this spreadsheet for the results of your pledge, as well as those of other Sens fans. Each game has a separate sheet accessible at the bottom of the spreadsheet.

Step 5 - Make your donation: Fill out the form below to make your donation to the Sens Foundation in the amount of your pledge.
