Support the Central Debate Team Today!

     

Help Central High School raise money to cover travel and competition expenses for the Debate Team with a tax-deductible gift to the La Crosse Public Education Foundation.

La Crosse Central's Debate Team has a long and proud history, and has seen remarkable growth and success in the last couple of years. However, rising costs, stagnant school activities budgets, and a decline in nearby tournaments have made it difficult for the team. Central is the only school in western Wisconsin with a traveling debate team, so competition now often includes hotel costs, vehicle rentals and bus trips. Your support helps students learn to research topics deeply, plus develop skills necessary to argue on their feet and advocate passionately held beliefs as public speakers.
