Friends, Almost a year ago I adopted the most wonderful cocker spaniel in the world, Choco. He was homeless and malnourished when he came into the rescue facility, but thanks to their help, Choco was in good spirits in no time. Now pudgy with full of energy and life, Choco enjoys the dog park, car rides, but above all, loves giving lots of wet kisses!! Thanks to non-profit organizations like the Washington Humane Society, Choco was able to find a loving home and I was able to adopt my four-legged best friend.
Please help me make a difference in the lives of homeless animals by raising money for the Washington Humane Society.
On April 14th, Choco and I will be participating in Fashion for Paws, the Washington Humane Society’s first annual fashion fête. Leading up to the event, I am participating in a friendly competition with the other Fashion for Paws participants to see who can raise the most money for the Washington Humane Society. If Choco and I raise the most money, we will be honored at Fashion for Paws and awarded the title “Model Washingtonian of the Year”....how cool would that be? But even cooler, all of the money raised for the Washington Humane Society will go directly to its Good Home Guarantee five-year plan, that promises to find a home for every adoptable dog and cat that enters the shelter by 2010.
