Building Homes & Hope

When a family commits to partner with Habitat for Humanity, they put in 500 hours of volunteer work, and then must pay back an interest-free mortgage.  Homeownership changes lives in many ways. Not only do families escape substandard housing that is overcrowded and unsafe, they are able to break the cycle of poverty and gain financial stability and dignity.  Children grow up in safe neighbourhoods, knowing that they can accomplish their dreams.

Please help make these dreams come true by sponsoring me as I participate in this years Polar Bear Dip on behalf of all those families.

Together, we can help a family reach their dream of homeownership and escape poverty housing for good.

How are we doing? Look to the right to see our progress.

For a third time, I'm taking the chilly plunge on New Year's Day for a good cause!! Along with a bunch of other crazy "dippers", I will be jumping in to Lake Ontario to help raise funds to build affordable housing in Toronto for families living in need. Thank you and Happy New Year! Quick and easy tax deductible donations in support of Habitat Toronto can be made by clicking the "Support Us" button. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
