Your support can help people like Campbell Labontè, son of Captain Joanna Labonté and Master Corporal Bertrand Labonté, who is Deaf Blind and also has cerebral palsy. Campbell received a cochlear implant through funding partly supplied by the Military Families Fund. This device has helped Campbell to venture beyond his usual spots of home and school, contributing to a year of wonder and discovery.
“He has joy and we have joy because it’s no longer about hiding. He might be doing things differently but he is doing them. And he is givin’ ‘er!” says Capt Labonté.
