Struttin' for a Good Cause!
The 2010 Nashville Dog Day and Music City Mutt Strutt, presented by Pedigree, was bigger and better than ever, raising nearly $100,000 for the homeless animals in the NHA Shelter! Mutt Strutters raised more than $40,000 alone! A big THANK YOU to everyone who was a part of the fun!
Congratulations go out to our top three Music City Mutt Strutt fundraisers. First place went to Joanna Hilton, who as a result of her efforts, will be attending the Westminster Kennel Club Show in NYC next February! As an additional treat, her dog Etta was named Nashville's Top Dog and will appear in all Dog Day collateral material for 2011. Second place went to NHA supporter Carl Hall, who will enjoy a trip on Southwest Airlines, and rounding out third was Emily Rowton, who not only was successful in her fundraising and received a fabulous pet package, but also opened her home to a NHA dog that she adopted at the event.
While the walk is in the books for this year, the fundraising continues through December 31st.
