Hello friends! 💙
Thank you for taking the time to read why I am walking for the Coldest Night of the Year this February.
Every winter in Thunder Bay, there are people in our community who are cold, hungry, scared, and alone. People who don’t have a warm meal waiting for them…who don’t have clean clothes…who don’t have a safe place to rest… who don’t have anyone checking in on them.
Grace Place does.
Every single day, they show up for people that many in the world overlook.
But they can’t do it alone.
That’s why I’m walking in the Coldest Night of the Year. I'm walking to stand with the most vulnerable people in our city, to show them they matter, and to raise money that directly supports food, clothing, emergency care, addiction support, and a warm, welcoming space for people who have nowhere else to go.
When we walk in the cold, we experience just a tiny piece of the struggle many face every single day.
When we give, we help create warmth, safety, and hope.
I believe we’re at our best when we take care of each other.
That’s why I created my team, the Northern Hearts, because compassion is powerful, and our community has so much of it.
If you feel it in your heart to help, you can do so by doing any of the following:
Donate any amount (every dollar truly makes a difference!)
Join my team, the Northern Hearts ❄️🩵, and walk with us (even if you don't live in Thunder Bay, Ontario, or even Canada! You can walk 2km or 5km on Saturday, February 28 to support, wherever you are!)
Share this page to spread the word
Your support means more than you know....to me, to Grace Place, and to the people who will feel the warmth of your generosity this winter.
Thank you for caring. 🙏
