Make the first donation: If you back yourself, others will too. Start off on the right foot by making the first donation then share your donation via email and social media!
Bank your fundraising money as you go: It's super fun seeing your fundraising tally rise on your individual and team page. Try to bank your money before the Move to Give so you and your potential donors can see just how close you are getting to your goal. Mail in your pledge form with cheque(s) made payable to YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka or drop off your pledge forms along with your collected cash donations at your local Y.
Add Your Own Incentive: Show your friends and family how much this means to you by adding in your own incentive for them. Tell them that if you make your target you will match their donations; complete the Move to Give in a funny costume, dye your beard green or some other motivating end result.
