The Walk/Run for Abilis is our largest annual awareness building and community fundraising event. It is a family-friendly activity for people of all ages and abilities that celebrates inclusion and diversity. This is the one event we do each year in which all of our families and their children can participate.

The funds raised through the Walk/Run event help Abilis provide state of the art services for over 700 people of all ages with a wide range of intellectual, developmental, social, emotional, and physical challenges, as well as education and advocacy supports for their parents.

Whether you choose to walk, run, or simply enjoy the scenery and camaraderie at Tod’s Point, you will enjoy a fun-filled day with music, food, and lots of activities for kids! This year we are adding a Childrens' Area, with carnival games, arts & crafts, bouncy castle, face-painting, bubble bus and more!

So put on your sneakers and join us for an inspiring day!

3 Mile Run

Registration and race packet-pick-up open at 7:30 am the day of the event. The course is relatively flat and on mostly concrete paths within Greenwich Point Park. For runners using adaptive equipment, there is a route modification that will enable you to stay on paved roads. Our run monitors will direct you or you can inquire in advance at the run registration table. Awards and prizes will be given to the top three men and women finishers.
