The Y's 10^th Move to Give fundraising event is set to unfold on June 8, 2024. Our collective aim is to rally and raise $100,000, providing essential support for the heart of the YMCA—our programs and services that impact our community.

Move to Give is pivotal in breaking down financial barriers and ensuring that local families and individuals of all ages can access our transformative programs. Incredibly, 1 in 10 families in our region depend on crucial financial support to make memberships and programs accessible. Across Simcoe, Muskoka, and Parry Sound communities, the YMCA provides diverse programs and services. From health and fitness initiatives, swimming lessons, and licensed child care to employment/literacy services, immigrant services, leadership training for the not-for-profit sector, and camps for children, youth, and families—the Y's programs inspire people to reach their full potential.

The success of Move to Give has been made possible by the incredible support from generous donors and corporate partners. With over a decade of unwavering commitment, we have reshaped how we create healthier communities and envision the future. A sincere thank you to everyone who has been part of this transformative journey over the years!

Move to Give has raised over $900,000 in the past nine events and has involved more than 10,000 participants. This event contributes more than just funds—it is an investment in the well-being of our community, propelling us toward a brighter and healthier future for all.
