Big Brothers Big Sisters is Canada's longest serving child and youth mentoring organization.  We have been active in Toronto for 105 years and have cemented an enduring legacy of changing kids' lives by providing vulnerable young people with a caring, positive adult role model. 

We are seen in the marketplace as a "nice to have" intervention for a vulnerable child.  The fact is, however, that according to our colleagues at Children's Aid there is only 1 common denominator for every child registered in the child welfare system in Canada.  The absence of a positive, caring adult role model. 

And at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto, that’s our core business.

So one could say, that if we did our job a bit better and made sure more kids access to our programs, there would be fewer kids put in harm's way.  WHAT????  Fewer broken kids?!  Sign me up.

That’s why we need you.  With your support of Paddle Royale 2018 and BBBST, we can offer the ESSENTIAL service that we are.  We PREVENT a child from becoming in harm's way and guide them through the minefield that is their environment.

All children deserve the RIGHT TO THRIVE.  We make sure that they do.
