Get your registration fees refunded

If your event is maintained, the Foundation will reimburse your registration fees for your race or sports challenge when you raise $250 or more and meet certain thresholds.

Of course, it will come as no surprise that the higher your registration fees, the more funds you will have to raise to receive a refund. After all, our collective goal is to help prevent cardiovascular diseases and contribute to the well-being of patients!

Refund chart

Amount of registration fees refunded Minimum amount you need to raise to have your registration fees refunded
$99 and under $250
Between $100 and $199 $400
Between $200 and $499 $1,000
Between $500 and $999 $3,000
Between $1,000 and $2,000 $5,000

For instance, if your race registration fees cost $600, you will have to raise $3,000 or more for the Foundation to obtain a refund (or a tax receipt if you wish to donate this amount).

Another example: if you paid $350 to register for your race but did not raise the required amount of $1,000 to obtain a full refund of your registration fees, the Foundation will refund the maximum amount corresponding to the threshold that you did reach: $199 for $500 raised.
