Need ideas or tips on how to raise money for your Walk?

     Set a team or personal goal.
     Ask your company to sponsor you & form a corporate team.
     Challenge another office, branch, or club in your school. Competition is a great motivator!
     Walk in honour of someone you know or love who has lupus.
     Place announcement/memo in your employee break room, mail room, copy room etc.
     Tell everyone about the walk by leaving details on your voice mail.
     Ask your mail carrier, delivery driver, teachers, neighbours, coaches, & store clerks for a donation!
     Have a sign-up sheet at your office.
     Ask your friends who you have sponsored in the past, to return the favour and sponsor you now.
     Bring donation envelopes to club and group meetings to ask for donations and team members!
     Always say THANK YOU. Send thank you e-mails, letters and phone calls.
     Ask ten people for $10 and just like that you have made $100!!
     Start a letter writing campaign online and through the mail. Include your goal, why you are walking, where the money will go, how to donate online & how they can help you get more donations! Make it as easy as possible for someone to donate by providing pre-stamped return envelopes in your letter!
     Bring your donation envelope everywhere you go! The gas station, car wash, local fair, School event or more. You never know who might donate unless you ask!
